Habitat Family
Over the past several years, BAHFH has received support from United Way, an important contribution to the construction of many of our houses. BAHFH wishes to thank United Way for their support! United Way contributes to many worthwhile programs in the Brookings Community and we encourage our supporters to also support the United Way.
SDSU Habitat Campus Chapter held its first organizational meeting in February 2004.
The Campus Chapter program, a program of Habitat for Humanity International, enables and encourages students to help eliminate poverty housing in partnership with Habitat affiliates in the United States and around the world.
Every local affiliate forwards 10% of all donations to an international partner for the purpose of building homes for those in need. The partner for BAHFH is Haiti.
