Meet our first Homeowners of 2008! 

Kaci Cecil and Cody Hartman, along with their two children, have been chosen to receive the 2008 Brookings Blitz House.  They have already started putting in their sweat equity hours and are working hard to make their dream become a reality--a home of their own.  This house will be completed in just 5 days, including the landscaping! 

Habitat for Humanity\'s Home Builders Blitz 2008 is a nationwide effort to make affordable housing a reality across the nation.  Each of the 50 states have been asked to participate in this exciting program taking place during the week of May 31 through June 7.  In South Dakota, the Brookings Area Habitat for Humanity has chosen to be a part of this Blitz Build.  BAHFH has partnered with the Brookings Regional Builders Association to make this possible.  Members have donatedthrough their skilled labor, professional services, and material donations.
